HEDGEROW - AFRICAN MOON - UGANDA

For a little while we have wanted to bring on board a classic natural process house coffee without necessarily heading to Brazil. Something that's reliable and delicious but with a bit more depth to it. This Summer we've been joined by this fantastic coffee from the Rwenzori Mountains of Uganda. It has been one of our biggest sellers over short few months and we've fallen in love with it's complexity and versatility as we know you have too. 

Hedgerow 2026 

Our first Hedgerow from the beautiful Rwenzori Mountains. In each lot, the work of hundreds of smallholder farmers from across the Rwenzori region often with just an acre or two is brought together by AgriEvolve. A profit-for-purpose enterprise, since establishing in 2016, AgriEvolve has brought an increased focus on sustainable farming practices to the whole country, as well as helping farmers to access quality processing facilities and fair market prices for their wonderful cherries.

Roasted to medium profile with a nice steady caramelisation and a slightly shorter development time to get a good balance of acidity with the chocolatey sweetness. This coffee works beautifully across all brew methods from home espresso, bean to cup, filter, aeropress and more. It pairs really well with milk with its full body providing a delicious base for milk drinks. It might just be your new favourite coffee.
