TIDAL ESPRESSO - AFRICAN MOON - UGANDA

When developing our house coffee at Soulshine, we wanted to offer a house espresso that like the food offering changes with the seasons. Tidal is our answer, changing with the tides, always from a single origin, always from the freshest crops, and always with bags of character. With or without milk whether made on a fancy espresso machine, Aeropress, filter or just a simple cafetiére at home its got you covered. We love the rhythm of getting to know a coffee over a few months then moving onto the next one. 

Summer 2026 - Our first Ugandan Tidal from the beautiful Rwenzori Mountains. In each cup, the work of over 20 000 farmers from across the Kasese region is brought together by AgriEvolve. A profit-for-purpose enterprise, since establishing in 2016, AgriEvolve has brought an increased focus on sustainable farming practices to the region, as well as helping farmers to access quality processing facilities and fair market prices for their wonderful cherries.

When tasting to find our next Tidal, we're always looking for something that tastes great, whatever your brew method of choice tends to be. This is no exception. Filter brings out more of the darker fruit acidity, but pop it through an espresso machine and that'll be balanced with plenty of body and an almost brown sugar nutty sweetness. All in all a delicious complex coffee that we're excited to share.
